Release date and Early Access
Project Jupiter releases in Early Access on October 5, 2026 for Windows. Launch ships the main storyline of Chapter 1, with 2–3 more chapters planned and the full version targeted between 2027 and 2029.

Release date at a glance
Project Jupiter launches in Early Access on October 5, 2026. The store lists Windows PCs only, English as the launch language, and a single-player format. No unlock hour has been announced — the date itself is the only firm target so far.

What "Early Access" means here
From the store's own notes: Chapter 1 is the main storyline of the first of 3/4 chapters, and secondary missions are not available for the moment. The developers call the build playable but potentially buggy — it is their first public version, and they are explicit that community feedback will shape it.
Three commitments worth knowing:
- The price rises per chapter. The notes say it will increase slightly before each chapter releases — buying earlier is strictly cheaper.
- Chapters arrive months apart. Chapter updates are described in months, with bug fixes in between.
- Everything ships in the same purchase. The finished game — all chapters plus smaller secondary stories — is what Early Access eventually becomes.
The road to 1.0
The store frames the story as 3 or 4 chapters total, and puts the finished game between 2027 and 2029 — a deliberately wide window rather than a tight promise.
| Stage | Content | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Launch | Chapter 1 main story | October 5, 2026 |
| Chapter updates | Remaining main story | months apart |
| Full release | All chapters, secondary stories, translations | 2027–2029 |
The demo situation
Two demo threads exist, and they don't fully agree:
- Steam has a demo listing for Project Jupiter (store page, not yet available).
- The developers said earlier that the free demo would first appear only on itch, with Steam getting the final version.
Plans can change, and the Steam listing suggests it did. Practically: there is no playable demo today, and we'll flag it here the moment one appears.
How to prepare
- Wishlist the game — Early Access launches rarely get big banners, and wishlisting is what triggers the release notification.
- Read the beginner prep and the sporestorm rules. Both are short, and both make launch day smoother.
- Care about price? Launch window is the floor — it only goes up from here.
