What Mycopsychosys: Project Jupiter is

Project Jupiter is a top-down pixel horror RPG — and the prequel to DeltaCat Studio's 2023 visual novel Mycopsychosys. You play Hugo, a brand-new officer at the Plague Control Department: process cases in a small Spanish office, then head into the field chasing clues about a spore-driven infection the department has been "studying for a long time."

The mood of the series — a scene from Mycopsychosys: Remastered

It launches in Early Access on October 5, 2026 with Chapter 1 of a planned 3–4 chapter story — a full chapter's main storyline, not a demo slice. If you like the Mad Father / Ib / Drizzling Rain school of horror — investigation, dialogue, puzzles, pixel art that knows when to stop being cozy — this is that lineage with a bureaucratic badge.

Before you buy

What to do first

  1. Wishlist it and buy at launch if price matters — it only goes up from here.
  2. Skim the PCD survival rules — the game's own briefing; it makes the story click faster.
  3. Decide on the visual novel — the series recap covers what the $5 Remastered VN adds. Optional — but it makes Ray and Onna hit harder.
