PC requirements
Minimum: Windows 10, Intel Core i3, 2 GB RAM, integrated graphics. Recommended: Core i5, 4 GB RAM and a discrete GPU the store page lists as "AMD 1060" — modest for a 2026 release.

Official system requirements
Straight from the store page (October 2026):
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 | Windows 10 |
| Processor | Intel Core i3 | Intel Core i5 |
| Memory | 2048 MB RAM | 4096 MB RAM |
| Graphics | Integrated Graphics Card | "AMD 1060" (as listed) |
| Storage | not listed yet | not listed yet |
What that means in practice
- This is a light build. A Core i3 with 2 GB of RAM and integrated graphics is the kind of floor you see on small pixel-art games — if your PC has run anything from the last decade, it almost certainly qualifies.
- The recommended GPU string is worth a caveat. "AMD 1060" reads like a mix-up in the store listing (the well-known card in that bracket is the GTX 1060). Whatever it means exactly, it describes a mid-range card from around 2016 — modest for a 2026 game. We keep the store's wording and flag it rather than guessing.
- Pixel art scales well. Low internal resolution and pixel rendering usually mean strong performance on laptops and handhelds; official Steam Deck verification, if any, will show up on the store page after launch.
Platform notes
- Windows only (announced). No macOS or Linux version has been listed for any release in the series so far.
- Steam features: Single-player and Family Sharing — the two tags on the store page. No cloud-save or controller tags yet, which means unconfirmed, not unavailable.
- Demo expectations: a free demo is planned (see the release page); it will be the best low-risk way to test performance on your machine first.
Storage and download
Neither the install size nor storage requirements have been published. For scale: the visual novel side of the series installs small (a few hundred MB at most), and pixel-art RPGs of this scope typically land in that neighborhood. We update this with exact numbers once the store shows them.
Before you buy, double-check the version
The series now has multiple entries — the 2023 visual novel, its 2025 Remastered edition, and this prequel. If you are buying on Steam, make sure you are on the Project Jupiter store page. The Remastered VN is a separate purchase, and both are worth owning for different reasons (series recap here).
